The SM12 was designed to be a more compact Survival Machete, small enough to stow in most day packs or bug out bags, and with all the features and performance of its big brother the SM18.

Specifications: 

The 12” long blade is machined and ground from .094” ( 3/32”, 2.38mm ) thick, 1095 high carbon steel. This steel alloy is known for its ability to be flexible, and not break and be easy to sharpen and hold that sharp edge. The blade is heat treated to 58C on the Rockwell scale;  then sand blasted and black phosphate plated for corrosion resistance and a non-glare finish. A steel pommel and your choice of G10 or American Black Walnut handle scales finish this super comfortable ergonomic handle.
